Hyannis Port was the site of John F. Kennedy's family compound, and the place he came to be near the water, to reflect, and to make some of his presidency's most major decisions. The Hyannis Museum chronicles that time with four permanent photographic exhibits, a video gallery hosted by Walter Cronkite, and special revolving displays on loan from the the JFK Library in Boston. The museum lies in the heart of town, a few blocks south of the Barnstable Municipal Airport.
